Unattended Garden

In the garden of life, there are three elements that work together in order to produce a healthy harvest:  water, light, and maintenance.  When we neglect these factors we desensitize the potential of growth needed to produce a full blossom spiritual life.  Lack of light, Lack of water, and Lack of maintenance can create a deficiency in the foundation of growth and weaken the structure of your building process.

In order to adequately maintain the posture of a healthy garden, we'll seek the "Word Of God" and allow it to magnify the correction needed to maintain a ripe harvest.

Maintenance:

When you become spiritually idle, the spirit of procrastination overwhelms your motivation to consistently cultivate the ground needed to enhance your harvest. ( Proverbs 28:19 Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty. ) You become inconsistent with worship, reading your bible, prayers and even seeking God.  Then you will start substituting worldly things in the place of your daily surrendering to God.

Biblical Antidote: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Water:

Water is needed to saturate the harvest with the essential nutrients needed to spring forth life in the inner core of it's being.  Lack of water can cause spiritual dehydration that will result in a dry life. (Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. John 4:13).  The outcome of a dry life can cause, a life of discomfort, a life with no meaning, a life of depression and anxiety, and a life of hopelessness.

Biblical Antidote: But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."  John 4:14

Light:

Lack of light can cause life to become very dormant, not able to receive the illumination that draws out the array of brightness that's in you.  Dullness settles around your life, then spiritual blindness obstructs the vision of a prosperous future.  Without light, the path that you walk is unseen so the stumbling block of life trips you up and causes you to continually fall into the pit holes of destruction.

Biblical Antidote:  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
