Release your burden

Obstacles in our lives can come unexpected and when they do we rarely are prepared for them. We call these obstacles burdens, and some of us pick up these burdens that we were never meant to carry. Burdens can become overwhelming and may cause us to have anxiety. But if we aren't careful, these burdens can become a part of us by making it our duty to worry about the situation. These burdens can weigh us down without us even knowing it. We may begin to lose focus on ourselves, our job, our family, or whatever else is important to us all due to the burden that is overpowering our life. We begin to magnify the the problem and not Jesus, the one whom  yoke is easy and whom burden is light. (Matthew 11:30)

But here's the good news, Jesus wants to refresh us by taking all the burdens that is ruling over our lives. All we will have to do is release everything to him and he'll do the rest.  Once we begin to trust and depend on Jesus, he'll renew our strength and will sustain us through all things. So let's release our burden to Jesus and watch him begin to work in our lives.

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me.[a] I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.[b] 29 Simply join your life with mine.[c] Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle,[d] humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.[e] 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant[f] and easy to bear.”[g]

Matthew 11:28-30
